Avery Fales

Avery Fales is a beautiful 13-year-old from Plant City, FL. She is the daughter of Jamey Fales, the granddaughter of Linda and James Fales. Avery is funny and witty. She is sweet, kind, strong, and brave. Avery is a warrior. She likes to sing, draw, write, and is a Jujitsu yellow-white belt grappler. Avery raises and shows beef cattle. She loves every one of her cows, but her favorite by far is Peaches, the inspiration for this coin.
 
In May of 2023, Avery was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Following two brain surgeries at St Joseph Children’s Hospital in Tampa, she was flown to St Jude Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee where she underwent a third brain surgery. The surgery was a success and will be followed by months of chemotherapy and radiation. Avery has a long journey ahead of her. She has an army of family and friends supporting her.
